Our Philosophy
I use the wisdom of tradition in the products made here at Iskah.
In our skincare line, we harness the nourishing benefits of tallow combined with potent herbs. Tallow, rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids, has been used historically for its remarkable ability to moisturise and protect the skin and also creates an incredible bar of soap. By blending it with herbs known for their healing qualities, we create products that respect nature's wisdom while addressing contemporary skin concerns.
At Iskah, we believe that integrating the old with the new can lead to a holistic approach to health and beauty.
Our Creator
Rachel
Welcome to Iskah, I’m Rachel. My 8yo son took this photo, I don’t like wearing make-up and believe in doing all things real. So that is me, real, one Saturday afternoon out the front of our house.
I am mother of three incredible kids that keep me on my toes. I found myself swimming in the world on motherhood not spending time doing anything for me when I stumbled upon soap making. It fast became a hobby that challenged me but also brought life as I was able to flow creatively through.
Our Promise
Artisanal
We seek to create artisanal products that honour traditional practices. Our process begins by carefully selecting high-quality ingredients, with values of organic and ethical ingredients. These ingredients are then handcrafted in small batches to ensure quality and creativity is not lost. We combine age-old techniques with modern innovation that promote wellness. Our commitment to quality and authenticity is woven through every product and service.
Integrity
At iskah, I take great pride in the integrity of our products. Each item is crafted using high-quality ingredients sourced from trusted suppliers. My commitment to authenticity means that I adhere to traditional practices looking to draw from the wisdom of tradition.
Trust is foundational and I strive to uphold the highest standards of quality and transparency in everything I offer.
Simplicity
There is a complexity to life but it should be kept simple. Simple ingredients at the right time are seeds that flourish, our bodies do not need synthetics or preservatives to heal.
